Pascal’s POV:

I sat in my office and examined the engagement ring I bought for Sandra.

My earlier conversation with Neil was not what I expected but I was going to do just what he said, I would follow my heart. But first I needed to make her understand that life with me would not always be a chore.

Truthfully I am not as strict as I am with her as I was in my other relationships. I know how to pamper a woman, I am great at anticipating their needs and delivering before they ask. But one too many times I have been played for fools because of it. Then I met Sandra, she was all smiles and waves as she welcomed me and a friend into the restaurant where she was waiting tables.
