Chapter Ninety-three.

Neil stopped in his tracks at his receptionist’s words. He could not just walk into that office without a tangible explanation on his lips, nor could he turn away from her. He could not grasp who would have told her. His lawyer would not dare it if she valued her practicing license, and she had worked with him for too long to have made this kind of mistake.

It definitely could not be Zina, they were in this together and she had more to lose by saying anything to anyone that was not Sarah and by extension Pascal. Not to mention the non-disclosure agreement that she signed.

He took a deep breath and turned to his receptionist who was waiting for his next instructions.

“All my appointments are confirmed until and unless I say otherwise, thank you.” Neil said to his receptionist and walked into his office. He just had to know how to play this out without telling her the truth.
