Chapter Twenty-nine.

I wondered who owns the car. The owner parked close to mine and we waited for the person to come down only to see Megan's mother. Zina saw what was about to happen and came down from the car immediately. I tried calling her back but she had already entered the house and locked the door.

I quietly came down from my car and leaned on the door. Megan's mother walked up to me. "What do you want?"

"I know you are surprised. I have been following you all around, even when you went to the mall, I was there with you. So you have decided to find her here, right?"

"And I asked again, what do you want?"

"I want my daughter back."

"But she is not in my custody and I wasn't the one who got her arrested."

"Then you have to talk to the person who arrested her. She is my child and your wife to be. How would he be so heartless to keep her behind the bars?"

"For your information, Megan is not my wife neither am I planning to get married to her. I would appreciate if you get that into your skull."

"Oh!
