A week passed by in a blur.

My wounds had healed up nicely.

I was a little disappointed because I failed to regain any memories these past few days.

It seemed the recovery process would be entirely up to fate.

Sebastian's mother and grandmother had made it an unspoken rule for me to call them at least once a day. It wasn't something I can avoid.

It was either the call or the option of both of them visiting me.

I didn't want to meet them physically so I agreed.

I had accepted the fact that I would live with them. It didn't mean I want to rush into their arms.

A knock sounded.

The person at the other side of the door didn't wait for me to give the go-ahead to enter before coming in.

It was rude.

I raised a brow.

This person did not look like he or she came with good intentions.

I dropped the book I was reading to look at the new arrival.

Sebastian didn't do anything out of line. He respected my privacy too.
