Natigilan ako nang tumigil kami sa isang magandang rest house bahagyang malayo sa tinitirahan namin. “Saan mo na naman ako dinala?” walang gana kong sabi.

"To the rest house I bought," he answered softly as he got out of the car, but when he opened the door for me, I resisted until he carried me.

"Put me down!"

"Tsk, if you could walk, you should have done it earlier," he muttered, making me glare at him once he brought me inside the rest house.

"You should have brought Katrina here instead. You enjoy being with her, don't you?" I snapped, dropping my bag on the center table in the living room.

"Yeah," he replied nonchalantly, which irritated me even more.

"I'm going home," I said angrily and stood up, but he quickly grabbed my hand and made me sit back down.

"What is it, Maxwell? You're so annoying," I said softly.

"Really? You're annoyed? I'm annoyed by your laughing while talking to Lysander." He sat beside me with a thud, making me move to the other end of the couc
