When I first told Maya that I was getting married to George, she screamed. Then, she asked if I was serious to which I answered positively.

At first, she was skeptical about it but after I explained exactly what had happened between us in the past few months, she was happy that I was getting married. She didn’t care that a contract was involved. She was just happy to be a bridesmaid and to see me walking down the aisle.

Too many things were happening at the time and I was feeling overwhelmed by everything.

I had always dreamt about having the perfect wedding even if I never talked about it with anyone. It was one of my fantasies. And in my fantasy dream, I didn’t see myself getting pregnant before getting married or even having a contract marriage.
