Chapter 40

Rachel picked up the phone and dialed Celine's number. She had been wanting to tell her best friend about her date with Adam.

The phone rang a few times, and then Celine picked up. "Hello?" she said.

"Hi, Celine," Rachel said. "It's Rachel."

"Oh, hi Rachel," Celine said. "What's up?"

"I have some great news," Rachel said. "I'm going on a date with Adam!"

"A date?" Celine asked. "With Adam?"

"Yes," Rachel said. "He asked me out last night, and I said yes."

"That's amazing!" Celine said. "I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks," Rachel said. "I'm really excited."

"I can imagine," Celine said. "Adam is such a great guy."

"I know," Rachel said. "I'm really lucky."

"So, when's the date?" Celine asked.

"It's on Saturday night," Rachel said. "We're going to dinner and a movie."

"That sounds perfect," Celine said. "I'm sure you'll have a great time."

"I hope so," Rachel said. "I'm really looking forward to it."

Rachel and Celine talked about Rachel's date for a little while longer. Then, they hung up
