EMILY’S POV

Granny and Ava looked disappointed in me.I can understand that they may have thought highly of me and I let them down by lying to them.

Granny was the first one to say”Emily, how Were you are so irresponsible to abandon your responsibilities and your family like that.I used to think you were a very sweet and obedient girl,was that all an act? We saw the video on social media of how you were shouting at your Mom like she’s a child,the fact she’s not your biological mother didn’t mean you should talk to her that way”Granny Said.

Every word she spoke tore my heart into a thousand shreds of pieces.They wouldn’t understand because they weren’t in my shoes,everyone was judging me based on the

act my stepmother and sister put up,tears started falling from my eyes again.

“Emily you should have told us the truth no matter what,but instead you lied that you were an orphan.why did you have to do all that,Now we can’t trust you working for Ethan anymore”Ava said giving me a sorry look
