Chapter 11

It's him.

"You." We both say at the same time.

A huge smile plasters on his face, and in one stride he has me in his arms in a tight hug. I don't know why but tears start to fall down my cheeks, my heart feeling heavy as he holds me tight.

My hands are shaky as I wrap them around his torso.

"I am so glad to see you." He breathes, his voice low in my ear.

Pulling away, he holds my face in his hands, wiping away the tears with his thumb. He Puts a strand of hair behind my ear, then kisses my forehead.

Seeing him here, right now, in front of me, brought so many emotions that I couldn't say a word but stare at him. I felt happy and relieved that he was here but my heart suddenly dropped in fear and I took a step back, out of his embrace.
