Jaxon sipped the cup of coffee he had bought that afternoon as he looked through documents in the restaurant that was Starbucks café. He paused in his drink.

He had a lot on his mind that he didn’t want to think about but he just had to. There was the fact that his uncle had been disturbing him every day, paying a visit to the company as if to gauge the extent of their work and that was stressing him out.

Then there was also the fact of his wife. He had slept with her and now he was ignoring her for no reason if he asked him. Just that he didn’t want to let that feeling or emotion happen between them. He loved Erin and there was nothing that was going to change.

If only he hadn’t written that ridiculous note on her bra. Yes, he remembered it and he was going to blame it on the hangover. He hadn’t been thinking when he did that and had just acted out on impulse because of how cute he could remember she was when she was flustered.

He sighed placing his hands on his head, he was an idiot
