Chapter Seven

Angie.

"Hey! Wake up ma'am." I heard from my sleep. My eyes are still foggy with drowsiness. My head was resting on something hard, that didn't feel like my pillow at all. A body jerked beneath me and I woke up with a start. "Even in your sleep, you're still trying to get with me blondie." Brandon's drowsy voice distracted me for a moment. His voice was thick and husky. A certain rawness to it like he just woke up from sleep too and I imagined waking up to that voice every morning, after a thorough night of… I paused my hazardous thoughts right there. That was when I realized my predicament. We were tangled up in our sleep, my head resting on his broad shoulders, his palm resting behind my neck.

“Your bails have been cleared up." The officer's voice said again. I heard Brandon mutter something along the lines of Thank heavens.

I didn't want to talk to anyone right now. I was so pissed. This was all Brandon's fault. If he hadn't called the cops then I won't have missed my shoot.
