The tickling sound of raindrops on the roofing wasn't sorting. My body felt literally on fire, I could feel my tears trail burning down my cheeks. My inner body and back burned and my chest ached from the pain and fear of being tortured again.My eyelids felt heavy and my head was like a musical drum that was being hit aggressively. The dark-skinned lady was the definition of beauty, her skin was flawless and she carried a simple but unique smile. "Should I help you set up the table or something?" I asked, walking up to Ms. Miranda. "I would have wanted your help but you might not know exactly where I kept the plate," she muttered. I walked up to the highly decorated cabinet to take out the plate. I lifted a toe up to get three plates and a fork. I moved to the table before setting them up. "Sometimes I feel like you can see, the way you act makes it seem like you have your sight." Ms. Miranda said, slashing slices of the cake we baked a while ago on the plate.
