Chapter 19 | Meant To Be

It’s quiet as I wait to see if Lux and Kodi can make the connection to Kai. I wish we could be there in person to talk to him about this. I’m sure it’s going to be a hard pill for him to swallow. What I don’t understand is- how is Lux still Alpha King Archer’s biological child while Kai is Leviticus Adams kid?
I start to doze until I hear a sharp intake of breath and I look over to see Lux shaking her head as she’s trying to focus and get back to herself.
