Lux
The woman in front of us is incredibly hostile. I know she’s not Selene, but I know Selene is in the room. I allow Kodi to front so that she can use her senses to help guide us toward her. As soon as we move towards her, we got blocked by the woman, whose voice I recognize from my dreams.
She snaps at me, “You are not welcome here!”
Kodi is eerily calm on the outside, but on the inside, she’s raging. She wants answers, and she wants them now. She lets me control our voice, so that she doesn’t scream at the woman.
