I didn’t go to bed till past 3:00 a.m. but that didn’t matter because I finally have my best friend back. Unfortunately, through everything, I have lost the relationship with my twin brother. I must believe that one day we will work through everything, but that day is not today.

My footsteps echo through the hall as I walk towards my parents’ room so I can discuss this opportunity with them. I will not tell them about the fact that I’ve already made my decision. For now, I will act like I’m still deciding just until I can get a feel for how they’re going to feel.
