Chapter 29

"Oh my god! I swear it's like someone took every color of the rainbow and sprinkled it across your world," I spoke in reverence, standing at the edge of the lake.

"Thank you, little fyre," his voice came from behind me.

I turned to him forgetting that to transform he had to be undressed.

"Wow, umm, do you happen to have clothes hidden nearby or something?" I inquired in embarrassment.

He chuckled. "Oh, my sweetness, you are going to have to get over your shame one way or another."

I dropped my hands but still couldn't quite look at him. My eyes kept going above him to the sky or below him to his feet.

"I'm sorry, I just can't yet. Please put something on," I replied, trying to keep my cheeks from being set on fire.

He took a step towards me. Putting a hand under my chin, he held my face until I looked into his eyes.

"I will get dressed. I had one of my people bring food for us and clothes for me," he told me, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
