After everyone arrived Shelly was busy introducing everyone so that they could feel comfortable but Darcy could see that all her attention was on the Harris siblings.

“Well it seems, we are just going to be side props for today’s party!” Kay whispered.

Darcy couldn’t help but smile at Kay’s observation as she had always been very sharp and that is they were comfortable with each other.

“In that case, we better find a corner and enjoy the entertainment,” Darcy suggested.

“But don’t you want to go into the pool? The weather is very pleasant, I don’t mind going for a dip.” Kay asked.

“Well, in that case, you should because I don’t have my swimming suit and I would rather slack than get wet,” Darcy said feeling very annoyed with herself that she had gotten herself in a situation where she couldn’t even run away or she would look like a coward.
