Bangs had never experienced so much heartache and anger when he heard those words. The sadness and annoyance he felt were worse than when she had been absent for a few days. It was even more painful than all the experiments his body had gone through.

He feels a strange pang in his chest. Because of the negative emotions filling up his mind, he can barely control the rage inside him. If it was not for Lesley standing in front of him, he might have transformed into a monster again and rampaged.

He is under the side effects of drugs which pushes him to be very aggressive, but he can feel and think calmly when Lesley is around. Because of her, he can control all negative emotions and violent thoughts he always has.
