“How are you feeling?" Bangs asked worriedly as he sat beside Lesley. “Is your body all right?"

She smiled at him. “Thanks to you I'm fine. I don't think anything serious happened to me."

“You can't know that for sure."

"I know it. And really, thank you, Bangs. You saved me earlier," Lesley said as she drank the whole bottle. "I thought I was going to be stuck there. It started raining too. I was really scared back there. Thank you for finding me."

She looked at Bangs, and saw a frown on his face.

"Don't leave my side again," he said bitterly.

Lesley sighed, she thought for a moment before answering.

"Bangs, there will be times that we have to be apart. I know you want to always be with me. I want that too. But don't focus your life around me. What if I die? You need to learn to live on your own. Be independent."

"Die?"

His face grew even sourer, and he looked at her sharply.
