I found somewhere quiet to sit and wiped away tears that had clouded my vision. I needed quiet.

"Emmy." Ray said walking towards me.

"What do you want?" I asked heatedly. "I came her to get away from you, so you can save your explanation for who's interested."

"Emmy, I'm sorry." He said, attempting to place a hand on my shoulder which I shook off. "I didn't mean it. All those things I said, I was just pissed off?"

I took a step backward. "You were pissed off and you decided to take out your agression on me?"

He looked frustrated, like he was going to cry. And I couldn't help but to think in that's moment how cute he looked. But I didn't tell him I'd already forgiven him even before he asked.
