Janiyah woke up early because of the plan she was going to make today. When she got out of her room after taking a shower and getting dressed, her mother saw her and wondered why Janiyah was dressed as if she was going to something important. It's been a few days since they moved to their new house and Janiyah has done nothing but job hunting on the internet.

"Janiyah, are you going somewhere? Where are you going?" asked her mother.

"I have an interview today at the first company that called me, Mom." Janiyah answered with a smile.

Her mother smiled. "Janiyah, you don't need to work. I can use the money that your grandparents provided—”

"Mom, no." Janiyah immediately answered shaking her head. "The money they gave is for you and besides, I don't want to be at home either. I want something to do to make myself busy…” Janiyah approached her mother. "Don't worry, Mom. My job will be decent," she added.
