At least after that incident, Aslan finally allowed Alyne to stay a little longer there.  The past few days she has been busy helping him take care of the needs he will use in Los Angeles later.

But no matter how busy she was, she still kept trying to do something to make Herrin's memory back.  Even though he was still cold to her, at least harsh words became rarely came out of his mouth.

She always finds time to come to Herrin's house and cook something for him when his parents are not at home.  Unbeknownst to Violet, of course. She prefers to play it safe than to be physically abused by her sister and friends.
