CHAPTER SEVENTY-SEVEN

Ashley woke up to the ringing tone of her phone while she stretched her hands to answer them. A particular scent lingered in her room but she shrugged it off and picked up her phone.

“Hello” Her groggy voice sounded in the room.

“Sleepy head” The male voice sounded jolting her fully awake.

Chuckling “Felix,” She called out.

“Yes, you forgot my whole existence” He whined.

Rolling her eyes “I bet you wanted to get rid of me” She laughed.

Laughing “Not possible, how are you?” He asked.

“I am doing great, how have you been?” She asked back.

“Been good, your place seems locked. Did you travel?”

“Ohh, I forgot to tell you. You remember my friend from that day?” She asked.

“Mmm, Drake?”

“Yes him, he thought it wasn't wise to live alone due to my condition so I stay with him at his place. I totally forgot to inform you, I am sorry” She said softly.

“It's no worries, are you sure you can trust him to look after you?” He asked, sounding concerned.
