Untouchable

"What do you want from me?" I went closer and stopped the moment we were only a meter away from each other.

An evil grin formed on his lips. "Such a bold move to make, darling. You are completely entering the lion's den."

"A beast is not a lion if he does not have fangs to kill."

My lifeless eyes were fixated on him as I saw how he was taken aback. His surprised expression confirmed the theory I had in mind.

"Welcome back, Victoria." He turned and sat back on his throne, clapping slowly as he stared at me with amusement.

"I wonder how everything unfolded? Did someone confess about the truth," He let his chin rest on his open palm, leaning his elbow on the side of his throne.

"Or you simply caught the sly fox in the act?"

I only stared at him with my cold eyes.

"I see you do not want to share it with me."
