Chapter 84: The Favor

Kiara was seated on a couch. When she heard Leo's footsteps, she cocked her head towards the direction of the stairs to see him coming down to the living room. He had a smile on his face and she wondered why.

"What a pleasant surprise to see you here in my humble abode," Leo said, spreading his arms apart like he wanted to hug her, but then Kiara rolled her eyes at him.

"That's no way to treat a friend who helped you earlier, Kiara," Leo said.

"You should stop thinking so highly of yourself, Leo. If you think I came to thank you, then I guess you should think again."

Leo took his seat and collected the pack of cigarettes that was on the table.

He took one out and lit it up immediately. He huffed and puffed out smokes staring at Kiara with a naughty smirk on his face.
