Chapter 88: First Real Night

After Taylor had put her children to sleep, she came outside the house covered in a leather jacket since it was cold outside.

Taylor sucked a deep breath as she could get her mind off Nathan. Why was the feeling eating deep inside her heart? Could she not forgive Nathan for lying to her all along?

She heaved again and fluttered her brows twice.

It was already past 10 and Bryan was still back. Taylor had a lot to worry about tonight. She had no idea why, but today, she thought about her dad. She raised her head high to stare at the sky.

"Dad, I hope you're in a happy place with Mom watching over me and your grandkids," Taylor muttered to herself. She shut her eyes tight holding back the tears but no matter how much she tried to hold it, it fell off her eyes down to her cheek. She sniffled thinking about everything she had lost in the past.
