APOLOGY CHAPTER

My editor finally corrected one mistake.

For my new readers who opened this book starting from 4th July 2023, Chapter 91: For Love would be the same thing as the first apology Chapter. But for the old readers, this chapter would be the second free Chapter to make up for having to pay for two repeated chapters.

New readers only have to pay for one repeated Chapter, so this chapter will make up for it.

Taylor was in her office preparing some files for her board meeting which would be in a few hours when there was a knock on her door.

"Come in." She said without lifting her head to stare at the person who had just opened the door.

"Mr. Romero is ready," Victoria announced, making Taylor raise her head to stare at her.

"Ohhhh, I almost forgot. I'll be with him in a few minutes." Taylor replied as she was still sorting out the files. As Victoria turned to walk out of the office, Taylor raised her head again.

"Victoria, please prepare the contract."

Victoria nodded her head and walked out of the office while Taylor continued whatever she was doing. After a few minutes, Victoria walked in carrying the contract files with her.

"Here." She said.

Taylor collected it. "Thank you." And began to walk out of her office after adjusting her skirt properly. When Taylor was at the entrance of the meeting room, she cleared her throat a little aloud and finally opened the door.

"Mr. Romero, welcome."

Alejandro rose to his feet once Taylor walked in and was coming closer to him.

"Thanks for coming," Taylor said, outstretching her hand for a handshake. Alejandro took it before they sat down.

Taylor handed the contract to him. "It's easy so you can go through it. I'll wait." She said. Alejandro opened it and began to read through it. Even as he was reading it, his mind wasn't really where he was. He was thinking about the consequences of what he was doing and exactly why Leo wanted him to do this.

He finally looked left, then right.

"Are you looking for something?"

"No. How's your friend? The lady who got hurt? Is she fine?"

Taylor let out a smile.."She's great, thank you."

Taylor couldn't judge quickly, so she decided to take her mind off thinking that Alejandro liked Talia, or that things might work out for them in the future.

Alejandro smiled and nodded his head. He continued staring at the contract while Taylor was patiently waiting. Taylor's phone began to ring and she had to stand on her feet

"Excuse me?"

She began to walk towards the door until she was out of the room to see that it was Bryan calling her.

"Hey." Taylor greeted first

"Hey, Tay, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Is something wrong?"

"No. I just thought to come pick you up after work. Maybe we can go out for dinner?"

Taylor chuckled. She had a tight schedule today because of the new investors in the company, but she could still make up time for Bryan if he wanted to spend some time with her.

"Is that a date?" Taylor teased

Bryan chuckled aloud. "It's a date, Taylor. A date I've been dying to take you out on."

Taylor's face immediately turned crimson red when she heard him. This was going to be the first date with Bryan because in the past, there was never anything like a happy time or family time but it was different now.

"You there?"

She fluttered her brows twice. "Yes, I'll call you when I'm about to leave work."

"Alright, I miss you."

Her heart thumped for a second, but she returned to normal after that. Those words were so new to her, especially because it was coming from Bryan.

"I…I…miss you too." She replied with a lower tone. These were words she had always been dying to hear in the past.

Bryan knew Taylor just found it difficult to say those words aloud. He knew how to take things slowly and win her heart again.

"Stay focused. Bye, I love you, Taylor." He said and immediately ended the call, not even giving her the slightest chance to gasp or even mutter anything to herself like she had done the first time

Bryan continued to stare at his phone even after he had ended the call. His hands were dying to press the call button again and hear Taylor's voice.

Bryan had never wanted to love anybody the way he loved his mom because he had lost her at a very early age. He knew the thing he always had with Stella wasn't so real after all.

His heart was still beating, and his mind was filled with thoughts of Taylor and what their dinner date would be like. He would show Taylor just how much he loves her tonight.

When Bryan was about to dial Taylor's number again, there was a sudden knock on his door

"Come in." He said, adjusting to his seat. The door opened and his secretary walked right in.

"Ms. Sasha's here to see you, sir."

"Let her in please," Bryan replied.

He earlier contacted Sasha and asked for a meeting. Bryan was going to get to the root of everything. First, he wanted to keep it a secret from Talia because she was too soft and emotional.

He would handle it with the help of Sasha.

"Hey." Sasha walked right in, swaying her hips side by side, enough for Bryan to notice. It was only for a quick second, but Bryan could have sworn that he had just admired her body figure. She was in a super light outfit that made her inner wears so visible for him to see. Her curves were so huge that he had to flutter his brows multiple times and avert his gaze directly to her eyes.

She let out a wide smile with her plump red lips, and it made Bryan swallow hard.

"Please, have a seat." He said.

Sasha had to keep it in mind, she was making real progress here. Today, it was Bryan who called her first, and today she had also seen the lust in his eyes.
