Chapter 21 I Secret Talk
Sean looked at himself in the mirror. He wore a slim fit black suit that looked perfectly wrapped around his body. His gaze fell on a face that seemed foreign to him.
“You look gorgeous, man,” said Daren who entered Sean’s room.
Sean and Evelyn’s engagement party was held at one of the Reviano family properties, not far from New York.
Sean turned to look at his friend.
“Can you make me disappeared? Or knock me down, make me faint or something?” asked Sean with a straight face.
Daren laughed, thinking Sean was joking, but his mouth closed when he realized there was no change in the Sean’s expression which was staring blankly ahead.
“You Kidding me?” Daren muttered. He came into the room and looked at Sean worriedly. “Marrying Evelyn isn’t that bad, buddy.”
