Chapter 27

"Ember can we talk?"Axle asked knocking on the door of the room that Ember now sleeps in. She hadn't been talking to him for a while now. She even refused to sit in the same room with him so she demanded her own room. At first she wanted to leave but Axle's father told her not to as that would look bad on the family so the just gave her her own room. She had her food brought into her own room, the only time that she went out of the house was when she was going to see her friend of just going out to get some fresh air.

She avoided seeing him or bumping into him everyday. She always ignored his presence, she just acted like he never even existed. She just wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

"Just go away."She said loud enough for him to hear.

"Ember, I know that I am the last person that you want to see or talk to right now but please just give me a chance to explain myself."He said.
