Ember closed her eyes as soon as she heard the gunshot. She waited to feel the bullet entering her body but she felt nothing, just a scream from Karen. She opened her eyes and she saw someone wearing a black hoodie in front of her. It was a man, she didn't recognise him until he fell down on the floor, her heart stopped as soon as she saw him, it was Royal. He got shot instead of her. The bullet went through his forehead. "No! No, no, no." She tried to move closer to him but Axle's grip around her was strong, he didn't allow her to move closer to him. "Axle, let go!" She tried, but her body was too weak.

While Ember was trying to break free from Axle's hold and his attention was no longer on her, she pointed the gun in Ember's direction and she shot her, right on her chest and she ran away.
