As Kaitlyn settled onto the examination bed for her second ultrasound, Dr. Guillian covered her lower body with a blanket and lifted her dress slightly to prepare.

Unbeknownst to him, Kyle, for reasons he couldn't quite explain, felt a sudden twinge of irritation.

Dr. Guillian, oblivious to Kyle's discomfort, attempted to lighten the mood.
