Chapter 23
One month. One month of misery. I barely slept during the night because of the nightmares. I barely eat because during the day the images of my traumatic memories would haunt me. Making it impossible for me to eat a whole meal. And lastly, I barely did anything during the day. All my things were still back at my last home and Nicholas did not want to take the risk to get my things back. He was afraid that would gain attention.
