Chapter Sixteen

Luna’s POV

I locked the door to the ladies room, rushing to the mirror I checked my reflection. My cheeks felt like they were on fire and my heart was pounding extremely fast. Jenny’s words replayed over in my mind ‘Vinnie wants you’. The thought of him pinning me against the wall, his hands on my waist, the way he told me to call him ‘Vincenzo’. What if Jenny was right? I need to stay the hell away from him. Right now all I want is for Roman to take me back to London so I can avoid his cousin altogether.

I returned to the grand hall and headed straight for Carrie. I hadn’t seen much of her tonight, she spent most of the night speaking with Roman’s mother. They were getting on like a house on fire. “hey, where have you been?” Carrie asked as I approached. “Oh I was looking for the bathroom.” I replied as I turned to greet Gabriella with a smile.
