Chapter Twenty-Nine

Luna’s POV

I couldn’t help but stare as Roman walked by, not even taking a glance at me. Did he not care that I was stood right here with Vincenzo? I guess a part of me wanted Roman to be jealous, I wanted to see he still cared.

Vincenzo pulled me from my thoughts when he took my hand, gently pulling me to follow him.

“Where are we going” I asked as he began walking towards the far end of the garden

“I want to show you something” He replied, smiling down at me

The garden was huge, it appeared to go on forever. We finally stopped in front of a huge cherry blossom tree, beside it was a white French style bench containing a plaque.

I let go of Vincenzo’s hand and walked towards the bench ‘In loving memory of a dear mother, Cheryl Callaso’
