Chapter 56

Zora’s point of view

Heading back home after the meeting with Mr Noah, Derrick and I decided to go out for a little picnic. So we drive home to arrange for it.

I changed up my clothes and moved to the kitchen, to prepare the dishes we will be carrying with us.

“Okay! So what are we preparing.” Derrick said as he walked into the kitchen and I turned and I looked at him.

I tried to convince him not to stress himself and I'll prepare the dish myself but he insisted on helping me out.

“Alright then, you'll chop the vegetables and I'll do the rest.” I smiled and he nodded in agreement.

He chopped the vegetables nicely but so slow, anyways I just had to follow up.

In my greatest surprise I will ever believe Derrick and I would turn out this close again, I never knew he was such a very kind-hearted person and I love that side of him.
