Chapter Seventeen

Zora’s point of view

“CONGRATULATIONS!” Almost everybody in the party congratulated Austin and I.

After the party, Austin insisted that he would take me home.

“Then what about my car?” I asked him with my eyebrows raised, waiting for his response.

“I’ll take you with your car and ask my guards to bring a car along with us. Please I want your safety.” He insisted and I couldn’t disagree anymore.

“Alright.” I gave him this tired look and immediately he smiled and took my hand.

“Let’s go.” He said as we walked out of the hall.

On our way home, there was this awkward silence and I didn’t really know what to say too.

Austin took my hand and held it.

“Let’s just stay like this for a while.” He looked at me and looked back at the road.

A smile left my lips and I held his hand properly before saying.

“So are you going to drive with just one hand?” I smiled and he looked at me.

“Of course, thats not a big deal.” He laughed before turning to the road.
