Bad conviction

After a lovely dinner date with Jace, Ava arrived home late and found Autumn still awake in the living room, watching her favorite cartoon. Despite feeling tired, the mother joined her daughter and together they watched whatever was on the screen. Autumn giggled with delight after every scene that played.

Extremely exhausted, she drifted off into a deep sleep on the spot where she sat, and woke up later to see Autumn sleeping already. She just put off the television, and carried Autumn to lay her on her bed before she left for her room.
