Ava screamed like a crazy person as shock took hold of her which rendered her momentarily immobile, the moment the read the text that was sent to her by Beatrice. She felt her soul depart from her almost immediately, as an invisible weight settled upon her shoulders heavily.

Her hopes that were raised high initially that what was wrong with Evan could be mild, but seeing the most terrible reverse of the case made her body sway unsteadily, as if the ground beneath her had opened up at the spot, leaving her unbalanced and disoriented.

'What happened? Why would her son have something related to such an illness? How could she not have noticed?' Ava beat herself up to it so much in forlorn.
