An evil mother

I was called downstairs, after a hot shower and having something to eat. Madam Lucy came and told me there was a meeting going on. I didn't sense anything good, even when I reached and saw my mom, my aunt, and my uncle. I was certain hell had fallen. What made me happy was seeing my mom after a long time.

“Elina sweetie, I'm glad you are okay” my mom whispered and caged me in her arms. It was such a relief to be hugged by her. The warmth of a mother I craved engulfed me.

“How are you mom, how is Leah… Did she wake up? Why have you lost so much weight? You are not taking care of yourself properly,” I fired her with questions while inspecting her. She smiled and pinched my cheeks lovingly. I was desperate to know why she was looking so worried. She was miserable without me. My mom loved me a lot, leaving her wasn't easy.

“That's enough Elina… I'm sure you'll be able to talk to her after we are done,” it was the queen who said, and like a good girl I nodded and led my mom to an
