Chapter 39 ~ He has a secret

The last place Kiana expected to find herself in, was an ordinary restaurant. She looked around and was shocked that Arthur would eat from such a place. It wasn’t bad.

It just looked too normal for a man like him.

“We are having lunch from here?” Kiana asked.

“Why? Are you disappointed?” Arthur looked at her with concern.

“No, it just looks... Never mind.” Kiana held onto the rest of the words.

The two had just sat down and Arthur was about to say something else when a woman walked to where they sat and screamed his name. “Arthur! My darling boy!” an elderly woman opened her arms with a huge smile on her face.

Kiana was shocked when she saw Arthur stand and not only did he smile back, but also hugged her tightly almost lifting her off the ground.

“I missed you.” The woman said.

“I know.” Arthur joked which earned him a slap on the head.

“Ouch, Aunty Emelda! This head is pretty expensive. I hope you know that.” Arthur joked
