They had held an outside movie night where families could have a picnic while watching a family movie at the end of the previous night; she was glad for the event since she had been exhausted after her busy day and had apparently fallen asleep in Dale’s arms, since he had been particularly clingy after her kidnapping attempt and his conversation with his family.
This morning he had awakened her with hungry kisses that had her blood pumping long before she was completely awake, which only happened when he put her down outside for their morning run. She wasn’t sure how she felt about him driving her body insane before she had to run with the pack, but her attention was drawn to the other packs joining them for the morning run.

Dale He’d noticed when Gemma took a walk with Elder Stuart, knowing that the man was probably talking with her. He was the closest thing he had to a real father considering his biological father’s distaste for him, so he trusted him with much more than he would most other wolves. Their fights had continued until he and Malcolm found themselves facing each other in the final match. He considered conceding, but he could see the challenge in Malcolm’s wolfish face. The male would be offended if he stepped down, now. So they fought. It was his first challenging battle for the day and though Malcolm was not as fit or strong as he was, he certainly was much smarter during their fight than the other opponents had been. Gemma After her talk with Elder Stuart, she was thoughtful. He had answered so many of her questions without even realizing it. But her thoughts were still on Dale. Did he really feel those intense emotions for her? Would she be able to handle him being so intense around her? It was a little unnerving. She sometimes felt like prey when he focused on her so intensely; she could almost feel him summing up her weaknesses in his mind and it scared her a little. Was she ready to trust him completely, even with all her weaknesses? He had been even more attentive after their last challenge for the day and she couldn’t help becoming even shyer around him.
