Darius looked at "Hansley" coldly. "When did the real Hansley die?"

"He's not dead," The Consciousness rasped. He smiled stiffly. "Not dead in the way you humans would think, anyway." He cackled.

Darius gave him a scornful and disdainful look. "You look like an idiot, and your greed is showing." He smiled coldly.

The Consciousness' breathing hitched, but he soon calmed down. "Why aren't you attacking me? Weren't you raring to go earlier? Make your move!" As soon as his words fell, the walls started cracking again. An ugly look crept onto Hansley's face, which was currently under The Consciousness' control. "What the hell are you doing, Darius? You're destroying my home!"

Darius raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I've ever met anyone as foolish as you. Have you forgotten that this is exactly what I was doing before you showed up? I stopped only because you told me to, not because I was afraid."
