Crazy Cousin

Catalina's POV

"What are you doing?" Her head turned to look at me. She lay on her tummy on her king-size bed with half the duvet hanging at the edge of the bed.

"The place is so boring. I thought I'd check out stuff online, anything to keep me from losing my mind." I rolled my eyes at her as she typed away on her laptop, her fingers running fast over the keys, pausing every few seconds before typing again.

Her gaze stayed on the screen as she scrolled, probably checking online for dresses. She pulled at her hair in frustration, letting out a silent cry as her head dropped to her hands.

"Why are you always so dramatic, Mariana? If you'd go outside at least once, you'll realize it's not so bad," I said, looking around her room. It was large, the walls were painted black with some blue wallpaper hanging from them. The gray tiles stayed neat from Nana's cleaning as Mariana never lifted a broom. Her closet was wide open but oddly neat as beautiful dresses hung from it.
