Catalina's POV

Heading out of the house, I heard a voice. "Where are you off to?" Auntie's soft voice called out to me. She wore a sweater Mariana got for her last birthday, I thought it was a lousy gift but she loved it.

"I'm off to work in the fields, I'm already late," I replied, straightening my hair, and letting fall on my back.

"You look different." She looked at me with a scrutinizing gaze. "Are you sure you are just working? Or did someone catch your fancy?" She gave a teasing smile
