Chapter 24 His mother's death

"Sandra, what have you done?" Emine exclaimed, rushing to her friend's side to ensure she was still breathing. Relief washed over her when she confirmed Sandra was alive. Without wasting a moment, Emine frantically sought out a doctor, pleading, "Please, you have to save my friend! She's dying!"

"Miss, just give me a moment, and I'll attend to her," the doctor reassured, focused on examining the patient.

But Emine's fear and desperation got the better of her. In a surge of raw emotion, she grabbed the doctor's collar, lifting him off the ground, and coldly whispered a chilling threat, "If my friend doesn't make it, I'll strip you of your legs, your hands, and ensure a lifetime of misery for you."

The doctor, struggling to breathe under her firm grip, managed to gasp, "Cough... cough... Miss, please release me. I can't breathe properly. I'll go check on her, just let me go."

Emine reluctantly released her grip, allowing the doctor to follow her. The doctor couldn't help but reflect on
