Chapter 45 The news

The nurse, gasping for breath and stammering, spoke urgently, 'The old master's breathing is unstable. We need to act quickly, or we might lose him.'

The owner, fearing bad news, asked anxiously, 'What are you trying to say?'

'The old master's breathing is irregular. We must hurry,' the nurse repeated.
