Chapter 50 - the First Encounter

In the unsettling depths of a busy building which resembled a hospital with many strangers walking up and down, closing and opening the door, Jenn found herself trapped within one of the corridors. The surroundings were distorted and twisted, like a painting gone wrong. She stood in the middle of a busy path crossed by dozens of ordinary people as well as doctors and nurses in white aprons. The whole architecture of this place was eerily exaggerated, with towering spires and grotesque carvings that seemed to writhe and contort.

The air was heavy with an oppressive silence despite the crowd around, and a cold breeze rustled through the corridor, carrying whispers of fear. The building's windows were vast, resembling eyes that stared down at her with a malevolent gaze. Jenn's heart raced as she realized she was lost in this dreadful place. She didn’t know why she was there, where to look for the exit or, what’s more, why she was naked.
