Chapter 70 - Dreams come alive

Patrick and Michael with unconscious Bianca on his shoulders followed Stacy through the dark tunnel, feeling a mix of curiosity and fear. They wondered what kind of secret place Stacy would lead them to, but everything was better than facing Dean and his fury.

No one said anything although the lack of oxygen made them all feel weary and out of breath. They all got sweaty, but Michael even had to stop for a moment.

“Is it still a long way?” He asked when he found himself far behind them.

“Just half an hour's walk,” Stacy replied without looking back.

“Should I help you with my daughter?” Patrick offered help cautiously, not being sure if it was a good idea.

“No. I can handle it,” the werewolf got back to his feet, carefully putting Bianca on his left shoulder. He had to watch out, there were many sharp stones protruding from the walls.

All the way down the tunnel Michael could not believe one thing - he could finally touch Bianca after such a long time.
