Chapter 69 - the Woefield

“Mom, just don’t leave me. Don’t leave me like that!”

Bianca screamed in a dream as if some of her memories started to come back. Heavy breaths filled the cavern, watching her sleep was the last thing they could do at that very moment.

Michael stood in the doorway, already shifted into a man.

“Thanks God, that’s you! Your plan worked!” Patrick sighed with relief. In his caricature of fatherly feelings, the last thing he wanted for Bianca was Jig in her bed. What’s more, he felt such disgust towards him, since the moment he showed the dead woman's skin, that even recalling his name, made him feel sick.

“Not so much, Patrick,” he locked his eyes on Bianca and continued with his breath jigged.

“Dean has come back! He was supposed to leave this pack and never come back but he helped Samuel. I don’t know if he’s coming here or not. Either, Samuel can still be alive. They both might be coming here right now!”
