Chapter 68 - "the Frozen One"

They were all hungry for blood.

Samuel’s werewolf made his way through the forest bathed in the silver light of the moon. He knew that the time had come and he could finally put up a fight with a true visible opponent.

Jig could be anywhere lurking in the shadow and even attacking from behind. And he was right - before he sensed any smellhe suddenly emerged from the darkness.

His werewolf was calm, soundless and had devilish eyes hidden in the shadow.

They looked at each other in silence, the whole forest gripped in tension, sensing that it was about to happen a fight for life and death.

“Well, well… The long-awaited widower wants to put up a fight for his wife’s dead body.”

Samuel growled at his words and his werewolf was more than eager to rip his throat out.

“I know she’s alive. Give her back to me. I’m her husband. You have no right to steal my mate!”
